How an organizer gets the verified tick

The violet tick next to an organizer's name means we have checked their papers, buses and bank account. Here is what we check and why.

When you book a yatra, you are trusting someone with your family's journey. The verified tick is how we tell you that the organizer behind a trip is a real, registered business that we have checked ourselves.

What we check

  • Business papers: GST or shop registration, and the owner's identity.
  • Buses and permits: registration, fitness, insurance and tourist permits for every vehicle listed.
  • A bank account in the business's name, so payouts go to the right place.
  • Contact details that we call and confirm.

What happens after

The tick is not a one-time badge. Every traveler can rate a trip after it ends, and those ratings stay on the organizer's profile. If an organizer's buses or papers lapse, or if travelers report problems that we confirm, the tick comes off until it is fixed.

“The tick helped us more than we expected. Families call less to ask if we are genuine, and they book earlier.”
